CLASS TITLE: Sales Representative
We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to manage one of our sales territories. The position will have responsibility for northern California and northern Nevada.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage the assigned sales territory by promoting and selling Progeny products and working to gain market share. The incumbent will meet with dealers, customers, schools, government agencies and dentists to promote and sell Progeny products, make cold calls and prospect for new customers. They will also train retail sales representatives and service personnel to sell and service Progeny products; research and resolve customer problems and complaints; install and repair Progeny products when necessary; and provide customer support to current and potential clients. In addition, they will attend dental conventions and trade shows to promote Progeny products.
Successful candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or a related field and three years of dental sales experience, including a record of consistent sales success and demonstrated problem solving, analytical and communication skills; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Successful candidates must also present a professional image to customers.
